A few weeks ago, on a warm and beautiful day in April, the Match staff wandered outside during lunch to talk to students and faculty about how their day was going. Parent Conferences, Prom, and Senior Skip Day were coming up.
Here are some snapshots from that day.
- We asked a musical senior: What’s your favorite song to play on the guitar? He said, “The one I’m playing in the moment and the one that makes the person who I’m playing for most happy.” Photo credit: Amani Kimball-McKavish.
- While sitting outside the Academic Commons, two seniors explained their feelings about Conference Day tomorrow. They stated, “I don’t have a conference so I’m excited,” along with “I’m excited to have a day off.” Photo credit: MK Myers.
- In response to being asked how he feels about lunch, this Collegiate sophomore said that “they are rationing the mac and cheese, the bun is dry, but the cornbread is warm.” Photo credit: Jack Hill.

- Students were excited for that weekend’s Prom, as a zealous student leader headed to Upper School Director of Student Life Beth Kondorossy’s office to discuss preparations.
